Why did I choose to write this book?
There is only one answer: because my students told me to.
Over and over, in the classes where I discussed these self-esteem concepts, they kept saying, “Every teenager should take this course. Every teenager should know this. Ms., you should write a book.”
After many years of laughing it off, I decided...
..well, OK.
Thank you to every student I have ever taught. The learning has been mutual.
